OTTAWA, ON, February 5, 2004 - Atlantis Scientific Inc. is pleased to announce the recent award of a contract from Natural Resources Canada, Centre for Topographic Information Sherbrooke (CTIS) to produce high resolution elevation data for Devon Island, Nunavut Territory. EOServ's consultants will use Atlantis' EarthView Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) software to produce a Digital Elevation Model (DEM) from spaceborne radar imagery. The project, to be completed by April 2004, involves processing both European Space Agency ERS tandem and Canada's RADARSAT imagery to provide reliable, terrain sensitive data independent of cloud and low-light conditions often found in the Arctic.
